A few minutes of sheer delight

I’ve been listening to TED talks in the car lately – what an amazing way to make driving a pleasure – and found this one the other day. It’s by the lead singer of OK Go, the band who are famous for having the best, most surprising videos. He’s talking about where they come up with the ideas and the answer is – most of the time – by playing! What fun. Also: How to find a wonderful idea may be the best title for a talk ever.

It made me want to look up a few of the videos, and I just watched three (in very quick succession) that made me feel so happy. So if you need a few minutes of sheer delight, may I suggest giving yourself the gift of these three songs? What a lovely reminder of how charming and whimsical and silly life can be – and how much our souls crave that.
