When I was a child, my dad would tell us Johnny McGory stories every night before bed… Johnny McGory was a mischievous leprechaun who lived on my dad’s family farm in Killalla, County Mayo in Ireland, and I absolutely believe(d) in him.
A while after my mom died, I told my dad he had to start telling Johnny McGory stories to my kids… And recorded them. Now they’re a podcast! With interjections from me and my kids included 😉
