Oh look! It’s me being a fangirl again.
This time over the lovely @kaminipather, who I have been a fan of for years but somehow only met in real life on Sunday (isn’t it so odd when that happens?!)
Kamini and I first connected years ago, when we did an Insta Live about grief, discussing the loss of her father and my mother, and how weird life after grief is…
I’ve celebrated her many adventures since then, most notably publishing *All Dhal’d Up*, which is the most beautiful cookbook filled with everyday, Indian-ish, good mood food. I was lucky enough to interview her on Sunday at the @lootcoza launch of this lovely book, and oh my goodness what a treat it was.
And then, as an extra treat, Loot told me they have *Daily Glimmers* available for pre-order, for R50 cheaper than it will be when it officially launches! I’m very aware that books are crazy expensive, so I’m delighted not only that Penguin has set the price at R320 (for a very beautiful hard cover) but that if you want to get it for R269, you can!
