Do you ever have days where you feel too connected? Like the sneaky tendrils of the internet have worked their way actively into your brain? No? Just me?
It’s a rainy, cold Friday and I am so looking forward to an unplugged weekend. I’m reading a terrific book (Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld, who can do no wrong – as far as I’m concerned – and who I once had lunch with as a college freshman. Claim to fame!)
I have some big gardening plans. I’m going to do some colouring in. I’m not going to look at my phone or my computer.
This is a colouring page by the fabulous Lauren Fowler for The Grief Handbook, and I love it so much I want to print it out and hang it on my wall…
Here’s to a few days away from likes and pings and notifications, shares and comments and information overload! Cheers!
