Gifts from my daughter since she arrived home from school an hour ago.
Iām having an extremely busy (and productive, thank heavens!) day. Up since 6am blazing through my To Do List, because my dad is coming to stay today while he recovers from hip surgery, and I anticipate getting very little work done this week.
But then: a little 5-year-old fairy skips in with flowers she found in the garden, a pretty shell, a stone covered in tape and glitter, a new cover for my notebook.
A reminder that there is magic and delight to be found on even the workiest of work days! š«
