Hear me out for a second…
I have the most beautiful @kim_krans Wild Unknown Animal Spirit card deck. Every so often, when I’m feeling thinky, I shuffle it and pull out a card – then look up the meaning in the book. 9 times out of 10, it’s very easy to draw parallels between what I read and what’s going on, but I’m a creative person so part of me figured I was just good at drawing parallels…
Last night, on the eve of renovations starting in my home and a week away from going to Durban with my brothers and dad to pack up our childhood home (clearly, I did not plan this timing at all), I pull this card.
Panther. Never pulled it before. And it’s all about destruction and purging to make way for more beautiful things.
Hey?!
Uncanny.
“It’s unexpected, uncomfortable, and sometimes feels devastating, but after all the dust clears it’s easy to see the Panther’s wisdom at work.”
I believe it! I’m as ready as I’ll ever be for the renovation (doing the final packing this weekend) and it’s time to say goodbye to our beloved Durban home… That does not make the task (or the dust!) any easier, though.
Wish me luck, friends! Send anti histamines for my dust allergies 🤧 (emotional and literal).
