The difference between glimmers and slices of joy

I’ve been thinking about the difference between glimmers and slices of joy this week, and here’s my take…

Same same, different name. Glimmers caught fire because the concept feels so graspable, I think. Something that is fleeting and brings you joy, just for a moment. Same same as slices of joy, in my opinion.

But you know what? The words don’t matter.
The practice does.
And we all need to practice noticing and appreciating the little things!

I have had a week of Adulting. I keep looking around for the grown-up, and then recognizing I am the grown-up (doh!)

So these precious plants, unfurling, bring me such joy. Just for a moment. And I intend carrying that joy into the weekend and beyond….

And gathering more glimmers, or slices of joy, as I go.
