Not surprising, seeing as it was created to be an earworm (you know, one of those songs you can’t get out of your head). There’s a whole story behind the creation, in fact – how a group of scientists enlisted singer/songwriter/Mom Imogen Heap to write it based on a bunch of scientific findings and then tested it on a group of babies till they hit the winning formula.
It’s a fascinating read (check it out here) and the song is apparently guaranteed to make babies smile! It worked on Ella. And me.
