Once a year, my kids get a Yes Day. Whatever they ask (within pre-defined constraints!) we say yes to.
It has become one of my favourite holiday traditions – a day filled to the brim with slices of joy and glimmers.
Yesterday was Kid Yes Day and it was such fun. We had a pillow fight, built a fort, ate flapjacks for breakfast and fast food for lunch (spot the mom who doesn’t buy her kids fast food 😆), caught the open-top bus to town and watched a delightful movie, ate white bread and Coco Pops for dinner (no comment!) and stayed up late watching Nailed It Holiday Edition… and crying with laughter. Actual tears streaming down my face.
Fun on fun on fun. Slices of joy heaped high…
Best of all? Today is Parent Yes Day! Slept in, had breakfast made for us, went plant shopping without complaint. All the good stuff!
What would be in your Yes Day?
