I woke up at 4.45am this morning to be on national TV at 6am. A radio interview yesterday, a Facebook Live this evening, another TV interview tomorrow. And then things *really* ramp up, ahead of World Diabetes Day on Monday.
Every November is a flurry of interviews and events and last-minute requests and soundbites and awareness, usually interspersed by me lying flat on the floor to recover 😆
This year, I’m trying things a little differently. I’m pausing, each time, in gratitude for being able to be one of the voices for diabetes in South Africa. I’m breathing deep. I’m unplugging in the in-between times.
My goal? To ride the wave that is November without face planting on the sand by the end of the month. 🌊 Watch this space!!
