Open the door to a few impressions of Lisbon… This is literally just scratching the surface of all the things I’ve seen and heard and tasted and experienced this week.
It has been extraordinary. A solo week filled with mind-expanding talks about diabetes and heart-filling moments and corners and paths explored and precious instants captured.
“Look up” is some of the best travel advice I was ever given. That, and my lifelong aversion to tourists 😆 and desire to get off the beaten track as much as possible… There’s nothing I love more than pretending to be a local for a few days, and my glorious Airbnb (that’s my front door with the boot knocker!) in lovely Belem made it so possible to do that…
Lisbon is such an awesome city. So much beauty, so many pasteis de nata, so many beautiful tiled houses (I’ll share some soon!)
My eyes and heart feel filled with wonder. A week filled with slices of joy. What a gift travel is.
