Beyond excited, delighted and thrilled to share that I’m now a Penguin author!
Penguin Random House South Africa will be publishing _Daily Glimmers_ in early September – I’ll share details of a Cape Town book launch as soon as I have them 💃🏻
Like many writers, I have dreamed of having the penguin on a book with my name on it, so I am absolutely thrilled to be joining this wonderful club. So excited to work alongside @beverleydodd and her lovely team, so grateful to my agent @kaypeddlebooks from @colwillandpeddle for helping make the magic happen ✨
Also, in what feels like fairly groundbreaking news, I’ve finally impressed my kids! Internationally publishing 3 books, numerous TV and radio appearances, all kinds of important diabetes advocacy work – they’re nonplussed. But Penguin! That did it. (Thank heavens: now I can rest on my laurels for the rest of my life 😉)
I deeply believe in celebrating all the tiny things in life, as you know. I’m also very excited to celebrate the big things, and this feels like one of them! 🥂
